Deep cleaning in Siófok: a hotel and 100+ apartments

The client and the brief

It began with a full deep clean of a hotel in Siófok. Twice-yearly deep cleaning of more than 100 apartments then became an ongoing contract, and we clean residential building stairwells and other buildings to the same routine.

The challenge

Deep cleaning a hotel or an apartment does not fit into day-to-day operations: rooms, bathrooms, terraces and communal areas all have to be done at once, and each has a different kind of dirt.

• Limescale in the showers and on the taps.
• Signs of the weather on the terraces.
• The wear of the season on textiles and hard-to-reach spots.
• Meanwhile, the work has to fit around bookings and residents' daily lives.

The solution

Tasks listed room by room

We carry out deep cleaning room by room from a pre-written list of tasks, working from top to bottom with our own equipment and products. Nothing is done twice, and nothing is missed.

The right method for the material

For limescale and grout we use a steam cleaner and a product suited to the material; for textile surfaces, machine deep cleaning.

Scheduling aligned with bookings

We schedule the twice-yearly deep cleaning of the apartments around bookings, using the same item list for every apartment.

Quality assurance

Every room goes through the same checklist, and photos are taken at handover. The client gets the same result in the hotel and in every apartment, and can check afterwards exactly what was completed.

Results

After the full deep cleaning of the hotel, the recurring deep cleaning of more than 100 apartments became a standing contract. We apply the same approach to deep cleaning stairwells and common areas in residential buildings, for example at at Beachfront Residence.
